FUEL Family Event:  Tim Hannig shares a message for families with comedy and illusions on Saturday, September 11.  Doors open at 6 pm. This free family event launches our FUEL family/children ministry for the fall. Bring your friends and family for a fun evening.

Alzheimer’s Memory Walk - Saturday, September 18th at TR Hughes Ballpark.  Stop by the ‘purple & white’ table in the narthex to sign up to walk or to make a donation to help fight this devastating disease.

Youth News!   No youth activities today!   Youth Ministry Kickoff - Sunday, September 12th from 5:30 to 7:45 pm here at Cornerstone for youth in the 6-12 grades.  We will have live entertainment, great food and lots of information to share!  Youth Ministry registration packets are available on the table in the narthex.

Volunteer Opportunity:   Working with ‘job shadowing’ students from FZHS in our church’s Food Pantry - one Tuesday morning every other month beginning in October.  For more information contact Jill Hofstetter at 636 379-1849.

Festival of Sharing Kits:  In the September Newsletter an item (1 bottle shampoo—11-14 oz) was inadvertently left out of the list for the Personal Hygiene Kits .

Pre-School begins September 7th—there are openings in the T W T afternoon class for 3 & 4 year olds.  Call Joann at the church office.

Cleaning Kitchen:  We will be doing a fall clean up the kitchen day on Wednesday, September 8th beginning at 8 am.  Lunch will be served!  Everyone who uses the kitchen is urged to help. Men are especially needed for some of the heavier work!  

Flu Shots will be given here at Cornerstone on September 19th.

Tuesday Night Dinners:  Yvonne Beasley will be cooking the first Tuesday night dinner on September 28th.  All proceeds will go to the ‘kitchen fund’.  Make sure you sign up—because we hear the meal will be:  pork loin, dressing, gravy, green beans, salad, rolls and dessert!
